This year's auction is filled with some of our favorite business donors from the past several years, some fun new additions and some amazing items from our very own Blackshear families!! Last year's 11th annual auction raised just over $5,400! Let's go Yellow Jackets!

On November 8th, our school will be hosting its 12th Annual Little EAST Show in conjunction with Big Medium's Annual (East) Austin Studio Tour - produced by Almost Real Things (ART, click HERE). The Show will take place from 11am to 3pm - there will be student artwork and performances, craft tables, a screen printing station, a Trashion (Fashion) Show and our Silent Auction. 
We are very proud to be Austin ISD's first elementary school dedicated to the Fine Arts! Our students get two extra classes each week in the fine arts: ballet, dance, music, theater, improv, film, and more! Blackshear is also a Title 1 school (more than half of our families are economically disadvantaged) - we're bringing the fine arts to kids that otherwise might not have some of these opportunities. We are so excited about what we're doing!
All funds raised during this auction go to further develop and support our fine arts programming, academic initiatives, and other experiences that we bring to our students, staff and families.

We've received over 50 items this year including original artwork, locally made jewelry, restaurant gift cards, theater tickets and more! We have over 15 carefully curated packages, single items and a special "Featured Items". There is sure to be something for you, your family, friends, and co-workers to bid on.
Our Silent Auction is ONLINE and begins Saturday, November 1st at 9:00am and ends Monday, November 10th at 10:00am (CT).
**Make sure to stop by the Display Case in the main hallway - across from Ms. Lockhart's (Art) classroom on Saturday, November 8th between 11am and 3:00pm to see a selection of the auction items on display. These will include jewelry and gift baskets with physical items.
