Welcome to the 2024 Barnabas Empty Bowls Online Marketplace, where you can shop for some of this year's most beautiful hand-painted bowls. The bowls, which play a central role in Barnabas Center's annual Empty Bowls luncheon, have been lovingly created by hundreds of community volunteers and local artists.
On this year's Marketplace, you will also find some magnificent works of art from such talents as Lizan Brand, Lucy Brand, Robin Bruck-Tanner, Michael Fay, Stephen Heywood, Lis Krawiecki, Barbara Koontz, Billie McCray, Dr. Vicky Prince, Julia Newhouse, and Catherine Turner.
If this is your first visit to the Marketplace or if you just need a refresher, these tips may be helpful:
- To create your account, register as a bidder (see the link at the top, right-hand side of this page.)
- You can then use the dropdown menu in the upper left to choose which items you want to view.
- When you find an item you like, you can either place a bid, or choose the Buy Now option, allowing you to avoid the disappointment of being outbid!
- You may pay for items as you go, or pay at the end of the auction. Although Bidding Owl uses PayPal to process payments, you do not need a PayPal account.
- When the auction closes on December 5, you will receive an email notifying you as to which items you have won.
- Purchases will be available for pickup at Barnabas Center, 1303 Jasmine Street, Fernandina Beach, FL, on December 11th from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Shipping is not available.
- New items are added on a regular basis, so be sure to check back often.
- If you prefer not to purchase or bid on any of the items, you can still show your support by using the DONATE option in the upper left.
