Ancora Compassionate Care has been serving patients and families in the community since 1987. For most of those years, we served as Hospice of Rockingham County; in November 2023, we changed our name to Ancora Compassionate Care. This was simply a renaming/rebranding and was certainly not the result of any sort of merger or buyout.We are the same community-based, mission-focused agency we've been for 37 years.
Ancora serves the community through three different service lines - hospice care, serious illness care, and, our newest endeavor, our counseling center. Our mission is to be a supportive presence for life's journey. Our services allow us to be that supportive presence in may different ways: end-of-life care, support through serious illness care, and emotional support through the counseling center. Bidding for our on-line auction will open Monday, November 11th at 8:00am and will close on Friday November 15th at Noon. To bid, you must first register with biddingowl.com. Credit cards and Paypal accounts accepted.
Winning bidders must pick up their items at Ancora East campus - 8380 NC Hwy 87, Reidsville, NC 27320 between November 18th and November 22nd during business hours (Monday - Thursday, 8:00a - 5:00p, Friday, 8:00a - 4:00p). Only gift cards/certificates will be mailed, all other items will need to be picked up.
