1. How does the silent auction work? How do I participate and place bids?
It's easy! We are using BiddingOwl's mobile platform to facilitate participation, bidding, and checkout. To get started, register on our auction page by clicking the 'Register Now' button and entering your name, phone number, email, and credit card information. You can use your smartphone, tablet, or computer to track bids and place new ones until the auction closes on Tuesday, September 17th.
You can set a maximum bid, and BiddingOwl will automatically keep you in the running until it is reached. Winners will be notified via BiddingOwl or a DLNHC team member.
2. How do I stay updated on my bids?
You will receive text notifications when you are outbid. Be sure to check that your phone number is entered correctly under your profile to ensure you get alerts. You'll also receive a notification if you win any items when the auction closes on September 17th.
3. How do I collect my auction items?
Auction winners must check out by 8 PM on September 17th. You will have the option to either pay processing fees or allocate them to DLNHC. If you’re not attending Taste of the Corridor, items can be picked up at our office in Hugh Moore Park.
