The Folkmoot Summer Soirée will take place July 11 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at The Folkmoot Friendship Center located at 112 Virginia Avenue in Waynesville, NC. This is Folkmoot's major fundraiser for the year.
At the Summer Soirée, you will have the chance to indulge in a variety of culturally-inspired cuisines from different parts of the world. From savory dishes to sweet treats, there will be something for everyone to enjoy. To top it off, everyone will receive one drink ticket to complement your culinary adventure.
As you savor your food, you can tap your feet to live music from local artists and immerse yourself in several culturally-inspired rooms.
And that's not all! You'll also have the opportunity to participate in the online auction in the days leading up to the Soirée with unique one-of-a-kind items and experiences up for bid. The online auction will be replacing a traditional silent auction. The online auction will END on July 11 at 8:15pm at the event.
All auction winners will receive an automated email with what they won and can check out via BiddingOwl.
Auction winners that attend the Summer Soirée can pick up their winnings that evening. To purchase tickets to our fundraiser you can go to www.folkmoot.org.
Auction winners not at the Summer Soirée must pick up their winnings on Friday, July 12, 2023 between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm at Folkmoot, 112 Virginia Ave.
Please make sure you live close enough to pick up your items at The Folkmoot Friendship Center located at 112 Virginia Avenue in Waynesville, NC or are purchasing the items for someone who does. We cannot ship items. Any questions, please email auction@folkmoot.org.
