How it Started, How it’s Going, and How you can Help!
Since 2011, we have been empowering families with the gift of education, having awarded financial support to over 100 families and helping them become part of the thriving MDS community. Our program is designed with the teachings of Maria Montessori and our DEI statement in mind, creating an inclusive space where a diverse range of learners can learn, grow, and succeed. We are confident in our mission to help every child reach their full potential and invite you to join us in making a difference.
Thanks to your incredible support of events like our bake sale, amazing date, Giving Tuesday, and spring gala, we were able to raise an amazing $30,000 last school year! This generous contribution allowed us to provide Tuition Assistance awards to 11 children, helping us to supplement up to 65% of their tuition costs. We are incredibly grateful for your support and ask that you join us again this year in reaching our ambitious goal of $60,000. Your support will help us provide even more children with the opportunity to receive a high-quality preschool education and to build a diverse and inclusive community where all learners can thrive! This year is truly cause for celebration! We've had an outstanding school year, with countless achievements and successes to be proud of. On top of that, we're thrilled to honor Ms. Evelyn for her incredible 40 years of service to Montessori Day School. And let's not forget the 12th year of our unparalleled tuition assistance program. We're confident that our commitment to providing high-quality education, aligned with the teachings of Maria Montessori and our DEI statement, is making a difference in the lives of our students and their families. So let's celebrate and continue to give our unwavering support to Montessori Day School of Brooklyn!
So please join us at our Spring gala, pledge a donation, or donate what you would like - we welcome all giving. Join us in our unwavering commitment to providing children with the resources they need to succeed.
