Asase Yaa Cultural Arts Foundation is thrilled to announce its inaugural gala, Dreams In Action: A Night of African-Inspired Elegance, on Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at 7:00pm at The Brooklyn Children’s Museum. This gala is a celebration of twenty plus years of service and an opportunity to create sustainable support for the organization’s mission to provide high-caliber, culturally relevant arts and cultural experiences for youth and community in Brooklyn and its surrounding areas.
Dreams In Action: A Night of African-Inspired Elegance will be an evening filled with African-Inspired gourmet dining, live entertainment, inspiring art installations, performances and dance party featuring DJ Spinna. We are excited to honor the commitment and service of our inaugural honorees: Atiba Edwards, President & CEO of Brooklyn Children’s Museum, Cheryl Todmann, Founder & Executive Producer of The Stars of New York Dance, Malik Yoba, Actor, Founder & CEO of Yoba Development and First Deputy Mayor Sheena Wright.
