Westgate Elementary School is a remarkable, diverse learning community made up of dedicated students, parents, and community partners. The mission of the Westgate’s Parent Staff Organization (PSO) is to provide and improve opportunities and enrichment for all children in our school. 

Westgate’s student need is growing each year. And the past four years have placed a strain on students and families in a way never before seen. The Westgate PSO is working to support the entire school body with enrichment programs, grants for teachers, leadership opportunities, field trips and much more.

One of the most tangible and impactful ways the PSO has supported students recently is by providing school supplies to each and every Westgate student. This takes a financial burden off of families, provides equitable supplies for all students and gives parents and guardians one less thing to coordinate before school begins. It also is far more cost effective to order school supplies in bulk and we are able to cut the cost per student nearly in half by ordering and providing supplies in this way. 

The total cost of providing school supplies for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year now totals more than $10,000. Our 2024 Spring Auction goal is to raise enough funds to underwrite this expense. We are excited to gather in this virtual space and come together in celebration and generosity – all for a wonderful cause.

Please enjoy this collection of items from many generous businesses and individuals in our Edmonds and greater Seattle community. We appreciate each and every bid placed. Bidding will begin on Monday, April 22 at 7:00am PST and close on Friday, April 26 at 7:00pm PST. 

Note that the "Fund-A-Need and More" section provides a way to directly donate tangible items to the students of Westgate Elementary. These direct donations underwrite the items described and are a 100% tax-deductible donation to the Westgate Elementary PSO. Please take a peek as you are looking over the auction.

P I C K U P / P A Y M E N T  I N F O R M A T I O N

  • When the auction closes, you will receive an email indicating you have won an item(s) and be directed to pay using the Paypal system on BiddingOwl.
  • In order to cover online transaction costs, a 5% processing fee (noted as Buyer's premium on each auction listing) will be added to all winning bids. We appreciate your understanding - this allows 100% of the winning bids to be donated to the PSO.
  • All items must be paid prior to pickup. 
  • Items will be available for pick up outside the Westgate office on Wednesday, May 1 from 3:15-4:15pm and 6:30-7:30pm. Should neither of these times work for you, other arrangements can be made available by contacting westgatechair@gmail.com.
  • Shipping will NOT be available.
  • Bidders must be 21 and over to bid on any alcohol-related items. ID will be checked upon pick up.

  • Enjoy browsing the auction items without needing an account. In order to place a bid, please click "Register" at the top of the page to set up an account with BiddingOwl. Your username and bid amounts will be public to all participants.
  • Each item has a "Buy It Now" option that allows you to purchase it for greater than market value and deems you the immediate winner. Bidding will no longer be allowed on items where this option has been utilized.
  • In order to recieve text message notifications if you are outbid or a winner, please enter your phone number in your "Account Details."
  • Please read the details for each item carefully including expiration dates, restrictions, etc. These have been clearly stated. All purchases are final and no refunds will be given.
  • If you are a winning bidder, you'll receive an invoice with instructions to provide payment. All payments must be received within 3 days after the auction closes - April 29th, 2024.
