The Ardsley Friends of the Visual Arts is a not-for-profit organization composed of parents, art educators, and community members who come together with a shared purpose. Our primary objective is to provide support for Visual Arts programs at Ardsley High School.
At the core of our mission is a commitment to enhancing arts education within the high school. Recognizing the importance of the visual arts in nurturing creativity, self-expression, and critical thinking skills, the Ardsley Friends of the Visual Arts aims to augment the existing arts curriculum by offering additional resources, opportunities, and experiences to the students.
Furthermore, the Ardsley Friends of the Visual Arts celebrates and recognizes student achievements in the visual arts with awards and scholarships.
The Ardsley Friends of the Visual Arts is actively engaged in fundraising efforts to support scholarships to students who are committed to advancing their education in the visual arts at the collegiate level. These scholarships are designed to recognize and aid students who demonstrate exceptional artistic abilities and a distinctive creative voice. By investing in these scholarships, we aim to empower the next generation of artists, helping them pursue their passion and achieve their educational aspirations in the arts.
