Register to Bid / Sign in

If you've never used Bidding Owl, you'll need to create an account by following the steps below:

  1. Click on the blue "Bidder Login" button on the top left.
  2. Enter your email and click "Continue".
  3. You will then be asked to set a password.
  4. You receive an email from Bidding Owl. Click the link within the email.
  5. The link will take you to the Bidding Owl site.
  6. Under "Featured Auctions", you will see a search bar.
  7. Enter "Grand Traverse Democrats" on the search bar.
  8. Click on the Grand Traverse Democrats auction.


Text & Email Notifications

We highly recommend setting up your account to receive text notifications or an email notice if you are outbid on an item. It's a fun and easy way to track the status of your bids. In order to do this, you'll need to set this up:

  1. Click your account profile on the top right.
  2. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and make sure the boxes are checked for "Get text message alerts" and "Email alerts". 
  3. Click save!

 

Bidding Notes

You can set your maximum bid on each item and Bidding Owl will automatically place a bid up on your behalf. No one but YOU can see how high you are willing to bid.

Note: Bidding Owl will bid as many times necessary in the dollar increment required to put you in the lead. It does NOT automatically jump to your maximum bid, but rather works up to it if you have a competitor!

 

How it Works after the Auction closes

After the bidding is closed, the winner will receive an email with an invoice for all items won.  Once the GT Dems receive payment (via Paypal, Visa, MC, etc), we will reach out to coordinate pick-up/shipping.

 

Pick-up/Shipping

Pick-ups will be at the GT Dems office on Front Street in downtown Traverse City.

Shipment of items can be arranged, but please note that shipping costs are not included in the final price and will be at the winning bidder's expense.

Gift cards will be mailed to you via USPS.

Don't see anything that strikes your fancy, but still want to support? Click on "Donate" in the FUND-A-NEED and More section beneath the list of categories. Your donation is greatly appreciated!

 

Please Note: We reserve the right to remove bids or participants who are not acting in the spirit of this fundraiser. Any inappropriate comments or disruptive behavior may result in removal from the auction.
