Hello & thank you for joining us!
The Art Auction is showcasing the amazing poster contest entries for 2025, all created by local artists. These original designs highlight the incredible creativity of our talented neighbors.
The top three (3) winning posters will be available exclusively at the live auction held at The Benton House (312 S. Downey Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46219). In addition to the winning posters, we’ll have some exciting other items up for auction! Doors open at 6:30 PM, with the auction starting at 7:30 PM.
You can place your online bids for the other submitted artwork during the Silent Auction from October 13th through October 20th. The Silent Auction will close at 7:30 as the Live Auction starts.
If you'd like to see the items, they will be on display at the Irvington branch of the Irvington Public Library while the auction is live.
As a reminder, the Historic Irvington Halloween Festival is a fundraiser that supports local organizations. Your generosity in purchasing these one-of-a-kind masterpieces directly benefits the community.
All items must be picked up by November 1, 2025, unless other arrangements are made. Pick-up will be at The Benton House, 312 S. Downey Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46219, on October 20th. After the live auction, art will be available for pick-up at the Irvington branch of the Indianapolis Public Library, located at Audubon & Washington.
Please note: Any unclaimed items as of November 1, 2025, will revert back to the property of the Historic Irvington Community Council (HICC).
About Irvington Community Council
Founded in 1970, the Council is a 501(c)3 organization that provides a voice to the city on Irvington issues such as public services and zoning and works to improve the community and the lives of its residents. Highlights of the Council’s efforts include the annual Halloween Festival, Irvington Winter Luminaria, partnership with the Emerging Leaders Scholarship and the Irvington Legacy Project.
Our mission is to have a positive, lasting impact on the quality of life in Irvington, and thus greater Indianapolis as a whole. Through active partnerships with other civic groups, businesses, schools, libraries, neighbors and government, our intent is to make a sustained and positive impact upon the stability and growth of the neighborhood. We will seek this through our support of public art and entertainment (e.g. music, film, festivals); through an active interest in local environmental concerns (e.g. waterways, green space); and other projects and partnerships that protect property values, encourage business and foster pride in our community.
