The Love Purse Gala and Silent Auction
Get ready to groove at The Love Purse "Peace, Love & Purses" Gala on Thursday, October 10th at the stunning Wilder Mansion in Elmhurst, Illinois! This year's event is taking it back to the 70s with entertainment, signature cocktails and mocktails, delicious hors d'oeuvres, beer, wine, and an amazing silent auction. Don't forget to dress in your best 70s attire - it's encouraged but not required. Get ready for a night of fun, fashion, and fundraising!
The funds raised from the gala will help further the Love Purse mission of "putting love on the shoulders of women in need, one #LovePurse at a time." This means purchasing new purses and full-sized toiletries to gift to women who are in need. Each purse is carefully filled with inspiration and the intention to make every woman feel loved, valued, and respected. Let's come together and make a difference in the lives of these women.

Love Purse is a nonprofit organization that collects new purses filled with full-sized toiletries and other personal items, and gifts them to organizations supporting women coping with personal tragedies; and those living in emergency shelter situations facing domestic violence, human trafficking, or homelessness. Since the organization’s inception in 2021, Love Purse has collected over 360,000 toiletries and gifted more than 12,000 purses to women in need in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Dominican Republic, Turkey, and Ukraine, thanks to hundreds of Love Purse donors and volunteers.
