What is the path to Sainthood? People of all ages, men, women, and children have been canonized Saints in the Orthodox Church.  What did these individuals do that made them reach such a state of holiness that they attained sanctification.  

In this year's auction, the sisters are presenting icons of Saints who lived Christ-centered lives.  They were self-sacrificing and filled with love for Christ and for all of humanity.  They gave themselves freely in obedience to the Will of God.  They walked gently and humbly.  Many endured slander, were unjustly exiled or were imprisoned.  Some of the Saints endured brutality and torture and suffered with physical pain and illnesses.  They disregarded their physical needs and desires and nurtured a life of prayer, reaching great spiritual heights, attracting the Grace of God.

For us, these Saints are salvific.  We can pray to them, asking them for their help in matters of physical and mental illness, for spiritual guidance and for protection.  The Saints intercede for us before Christ and His Holy Mother, The Theotokos, for our well-being and salvation. 

We pray you will benefit from reading the lives of the Saints we are presenting to you.  Thank you for browsing, bidding and donating.  We are grateful for your love and support.  May our Most Holy Theotokos guide and protect you and your families through the intercessions of our Saints.

Please know that all auction items have been made by the Sisters of the Monastery. Proceeds from the auction and all donations go to support the completion of the Monastery's new Church.
