Participate in the online auction from anywhere!
A limited number of auction items are available on our online auction site one week prior to the event. Final online auction item bids will carry over to the live event on January 23rd for in person bidding. If you are unable to attend in person, proxy bidding during the event can be arranged so you may continue bidding. If you remain the winning bidder, you will be contacted on Saturday, January 24th. Please contact Wendy Giangrasso at wgiangrasso@oakwoodfriends.org for proxy bidding details or if you have any questions.
We hope you’ll join us for a delightful evening!
Tickets are available for Oakwood’s Apps & Auction!
We warmly invite alumni, former parents, local friends, and members of the wider Oakwood community to join us at the Vassar Alumnae House on Friday, January 23 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm for Apps & Auction!
We look forward to gathering for this signature event as we honor Tim and Laurel Sweeney (Sean ’09), whose vision launched Oakwood’s first Dinner and Auction 20 years ago!
Guests will enjoy an unforgettable evening of passed hors d'oeuvres, tasty bites, signature alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, wine, and a decadent dessert! Sip, taste and mingle while taking part in an exciting silent auction alongside members of our community: current and former parents, faculty, board members, alumni, friends, and Poughkeepsie Quakers.
Every dollar raised supports our students through the Annual Fund, which plays a vital role in sustaining an Oakwood education. Each year, it becomes increasingly challenging to meet the financial needs required to keep a high-quality Oakwood education accessible to families. This year is no exception. Oakwood’s intentional approach, centered on inclusivity, social justice, community engagement, and academic excellence, is more important than ever, and we are deeply proud to offer this education to our students.
This auction is for members, alumni, family and friends of the Oakwood Friends School community!
We extend our deepest gratitude to our generous sponsors!
