Orange Audubon Society Online Auction

Bidding is open to EVERYONE - No Audubon membership required!

The Orange Audubon Society (OAS) Auction Opens Friday June 13th at 12:00 p.m. and closes Monday June 23th at 7:00 p.m.

Wouldn’t you LOVE a personalized nature experience with an expert guide who helps sharpen your birding skills, or a gardening consultation to help transform your ordinary yard into a wildlife oasis?  How about a VIP Butter-Dragonfly excursion with afficionados who will show you where to find these colorful and mesmerizing creatures?  If your hobby is dining out, this auction has something for you, too—restaurant gift certificates—and there are games, books, nature merchandise, essentials for photo enthusiasts, works of art and more!

Check back often to be sure that you're still the highest bidder AND watch for additional items that may be added.

You cannot win unless you bid on these fabulous auction items, and when you do, you will be bidding with a purpose: benefitting Orange Audubon Society, Inc. (OAS), your local Audubon chapter that, since 1966, has offered a myriad of field trips, wildlife identification classes, a birding festival, a nature photography contest and/or more exciting nature activities. All auction proceeds will help OAS meet its most ambitious and longest envisioned (since 1970!) goal of building a nature center.

You can make donations through BiddingOwl. Now more than ever financial support is needed to help make the Orange Audubon Nature Center at Apopka Birding Park a reality.   We have the location: the former Hickerson Flowers nursery site at the entrance to Lake Apopka Wildlife Drive. We have an architectural design: plans that will transform the old, onsite truck shop into a state-of-the art, energy-efficient building, expanded from 2400 to 3400 square feet, with a bird viewing annex looking out to a native landscape and water feature. The building, which will cost approximately $2 million, has already been permitted by the City of Apopka.

Pro Tip: Check out all items before using the filter to sort items to narrow your view.  You never know what ‘Must Have It’ offerings might pot out!

All auction merchandise will be available for pick up in Winter Springs as needed.

Note: When applicable, 6.5% sales taxes will be added to the final (winning) bid price.

Donations to Orange Audubon Society, Inc., a Florida not-for-profit [501(c)(3)] organization, are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
