About Rocky Cares

Rocky Cares is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to honoring Rocky Elardo, a bright, brave, and beautiful young woman who lost her battle to Ewing sarcoma in February 2024.
All proceeds from the online auction will help us fulfill Rocky's legacy and the RCF mission by:
  • Funding research for a cure for Ewing sarcoma, a rare and aggressive bone cancer, while advancing less toxic and more effective treatments
  • Community Focused Scholarships supporting high school seniors who embody Rocky’s intelligence, athleticism, and kindness.
  • Spreading Rocky’s Sunshine through community events and acts of giving that bring smiles, hope and connections throughout our community and to families facing the fight.

Event Details

  • What: Martinis Matter Happy Hour-Themed Event
  • When: The fun starts Saturday, February 7, 2026, at 5:30 PM (online auction ends at 8pm)
  • Where: River Creek Club, Leesburg, VA
  • Cost: No tickets, No RSVP, No registration required!
Note: You do NOT need to attend the event to participate in the auction. Item Pickup will be coordinated with winners who are not at the event, but items will NOT be shipped.

New This Year:  You can buy raffle tickets for raffle items even if you won’t be attending the event!

Silent Auction Details

  • Opens: Midnight on Saturday, January 31, 2026
  • Closes: 8:00 PM on Saturday, February 7, 2026
  • How to View Items:
    • Go online and select “All Items” in the dropdown menu at the top left.
    • Items can be viewed IN PERSON at the Martinis Matter event on February 7, 2026, starting at 5:30 PM.

Important Notes:

  • Winning bidders can pick up their (paid-for) items at the event or make alternate pickup arrangements.
  • Items will NOT be shipped.
  • You must be 21 or older to bid on items that include alcohol.
  • This is a CHARITY auction. If you win an item, please be prepared to pay for it.
