The Stark County Pet Food Pantry originated in November 2019; we saw a great need for a Pet Food Pantry in Stark County and wanted to help those pets in need. We believe that by providing pet food and basic pet supplies to those in need, the pets will remain in their loving home and not be relinquished to a shelter or pound. We also try to help clients with spay/neutering costs when funds are available. We currently have a monthly pet food distribution where we supply pet food/supplies to approximately 80-120 multi-pet families each and every month. All clients must complete an application and provide information on income, pets, and what they are requesting. We also require photos of their pets for our records. Applications are reviewed and clients are notified when the distribution will be, typically the 3rd weekend of the month.

We are a determined duo of two and we have 4 dedicated volunteers that have been with us since the beginning! We are always looking for more dedicated volunteers, if you are interested please send us an email at StarkPetFoodPantry@gmail.com.

We accept donations of pet food and gently used pet toys, collars & leashes, pet supplies, as well as monetary donations. This is our biggest fundraiser of the year and we rely heavily on this auction to help us purchase pet food throughout the year.
