Welcome to the Yaak Community Hall Silent Auction!
First opened on July 4, 1925, the Yaak Community Hall will be 100 years old this year. Constructed of large, sturdy logs of western larch, the hall has seen hundreds of community events over the years, from dances and weddings to church services and funerals, to basketball games and school plays. Unfortunately, lacking a proper foundation, the lowest course of logs is failing, causing the interior floor to sag and become unsafe to use.
We have applied for a grant through the Montana Dept. of Commerce to fix the foundation and restore the hall for another 100 years of use. This grant requires a 20% local match. Thus, among other fundraisers, we are holding this online auction to help raise the local matching funds.
