The South Texas Chapter of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) has included an online auction in conjuction with its Out of the Darkness Walk in San Antonio, TX happening Saturday, November 2nd, 2024.
Suicide is a leading cause of death in the United States and the 11th leading cause of death in Texas, yet suicide can be prevented. Volunteers from around San Antonio are joining the thousands of people who are gathering this season in towns across the United States to promote suicide prevention. The annual Out of the Darkness Community Walk, hosted by the South Texas Chapter of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, will be held on Saturday, November 2nd, 2024, at Nelson Wolff Stadium. About the Auction
The Out of the Darkness Walk Auction is LIVE and will close on Saturday, November 2nd at 11:00AM.
All bidding will solely take place online.

All proceeds benefit the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention
Winner does not need to be present to win.
Item Pick-Up: 12:00PM at the conclusion of the event next to the AFSP Merchandise Table. Other arrangements can be made if unable to pick up day-of the event. Winner must pay for item(s) won via automated email link no later than 12:00PM on the day of the event. If winner fails to make payment accordingly on their winning item(s), the next highest bidder will be contacted to arrange payment and item pick-up. If winner pays for winning item(s) and chooses to forefit accepting item(s), said item(s) will then be turned over to next highest bidder at no additional cost unless item(s) must be shipped to next highest bidder, at which time arrangements will be made to collect payment for shipping costs.
If winner is not local to San Antonio, TX, winner agrees to pay for related shipping costs.

Tax-Deductible Receipts: Tax-deductible receipts will be issued for the purchase of an auction item ONLY if the winning bid amount exceeds the posted fair market value of the item AND upon receipt of payment including any related shipping costs. The amount of the receipt is equal to the difference between the winning bid amount and the fair market value of the item. Tax-deductible receipts will be emailed to the winner within 48-72 hours of the close of the event.
