A Light in Dark Places breaks down stigma surrounding the topic of suicide by using the performing arts to enourage healthy discussion, create community, and offer hope to those affected. 

Since our last auction, we've been busy! After a busy festival season, we were able to host two screenings of our short film Valentine's Day and share it with our community. We also had the privilege of screening The Silent Goldens, a documentary by Ruth Golden that sparked some of the most meaningful conversations we've been part of. And last summer, we launched Light Chats, our interview series hosted by Salim Aliaga, featuring real conversations with therapists, survivors, and mental health advocates.

With every event, we prioritize safe messaging and include resources from the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and mental health professionals.
