Thank you for visiting our auction homepage!  This online prize auction is part of the Breaking the Chain Through Education Annual Fundraising Dinner, which will take place on Wednesday, April 29, 2026.  The  online auction opens Tuesday, April 21 at 9 pm; and bidding ends on Wednesday, April 29 at 7:30 pm ET (during the BTCTE Fundraising Dinner). Prizes will be distributed to the winners in attendance at the fundraising dinner, or available for pick-up in Metuchen or Verona the weekend of May 1.  Winners need not be present at the event.

Breaking the Chain Through Education is a non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization dedicated to eradicating child slavery in Ghana, Africa. The charity was started in 2006 by Evan Robbins with his students from Metuchen High School. All of our work is centered around the belief that every child, regardless of the social and economic conditions into which he or she is born, has the right to freedom and an education.  We are currently supporting more than 110 formerly trafficked children with food, uniforms and school fees.  In 2024 we opened our first BTCTE Campus, that includes a residential building that can house 40 beneficiaries.
