In support of Dancing Well: The Soldier Project*, renowned tunesmith and musician Jonathan Jensen has composed a lovely tune and beloved leader and choreographer Sharon Green has written a moving English Country dance to be auctioned off in time to present their collaborative work as a gift for Valentine’s Day.

Bidders will have the chance to win this wonderful gift for a special loved one, be it a partner, a dog or cat, themselves, a special friend, a sibling or parent or child…the possibilities are endless. This auction, unlike the fun auctions that occur often at dance weekends and dance camps, features a finished product, ready to give as a gift for immediate enjoyment as soon as the winning bidder has named and/or dedicated the tune and dance.

Dancing Well: The Soldier Project uses uplifting community dance programming to improve the lives of Veterans coping with PTSD and brain injury. Dancing Well offers a simple, powerful alternative to the depression, hopelessness, and isolation that can be so persistent in the lives of these Veterans and their families. Dancing Well partners with the Veterans Administration as part of the VA Whole Health program.
