Chapter BW PEO $ for Scholars Fundraiser 2024
Every year our women's group P.E.O. Chapter BW fund raises money for scholarship funds to be awarded to deserving women finishing their career education. This year we are holding an in-person event on November 2, 2024 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 7810 SE 15th Ave , Portland, OR 97202. The event will be held from 3:00 pm to 5:30 pm.
This year we are pleased to have four of our current scholarship recipients join us. You will have the opportunity to meet them and to hear them speak.
In addition, we will have our usual Marketplace, as well as 13 items that will be given away in a drawing.
Bidding Owl has graciously let us use their platform for you to pre-register for our Fundraiser, as well as pre-purchase drawing tickets and donate if you are unable to attend but want to donate to this fundraiser. All monies raised go to the scholarships, both International and at the State level. These donations can be made by using the Paypal Donate button below.
Donations at the chapter level are not tax deductible. For your donation to be tax deductible you must write a check to our foundation. Make check payable to:

PEO is a philanthropic organization where women CELEBRATE the advancement of women; EDUCATE women through scholarships, grants, awards, loans, and stewardship of Cottey College and MOTIVATE women to achieve their highest aspirations.
As a result, PEO is clearly making a difference in the lives of women worldwide. Since its inception in 1869, the nonprofit organization has helped more than 116,000 women pursue educational goals by providing over $383 million in grants, scholarships, awards, and loans.
Our chapter alone has sponsored 11 women in the past 2 years for over $50,000 in grants and loans and we are currently working with six amazing women for additional scholarships. We could not do this without your support. Thank you!
