HALO Havanese Rescue is a 100% volunteer-run 501(c)(3) nonprofit devoted to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming Havanese dogs in need. Our dogs primarily come from puppy mills, and most require significant veterinary care before they’re ready for adoption. Even basic care typically costs about $1,500 per dog.
