HALO HAVANESE RESCUE
We are an all-volunteer non-profit and all the proceeds of this auction go to vet costs for our rescue dogs, who come to us mostly from puppy mills.
Just before our auction began, we welcomed a very special new rescue into our care—a sweet little girl named Aria. At just 7 months old and weighing only 7 pounds, Aria is facing a difficult challenge: she has a dislocated hip that keeps her from using one of her back legs, and it causes her discomfort. We have learned that surgery can restore function and ease her discomfort! With the cost of tests, the surgery itself, and her follow-up care, we anticipate costs to reach approximately $7,500.

See some of our other precious foster pups in the photo below. This year we have rescued 54 dogs so far. We estimate it costs $1500 on average for the basic medical needs of each rescue pup that comes to us.
