In 2025, Our Redeemer Lutheran Church with School will be celebrating 42 years of a Christ-centered Christian education. With God, our church, and school membership of over 1,100 people have had the ability to impact our community in great ways!
On Saturday, May 17th, from 3-9pm we hope you will consider helping us host our 11th annual Holy Smoke BBQ pork competition with tasting! This event is critical in supporting ORLCS’s mission to provide high-quality Lutheran education filled with innovative and faith-based learning experiences. For example, we are in the beginning stages of upgrading the playground equipment and also exploring the concept of an outdoor education center for our community to enjoy. This center may include a pavilion with outdoor bathrooms, fire pit for outdoor worship, and walking trails with a garden! We are excited to continue thinking beyond our walls!
Our fundraising initiatives are focused on sponsorships and a silent and live auction. We will also be offering FREE admission, an outdoor beer garden featuring Duesterbeck’s Brewery and Staller Winery, children’s activities, meal options, and of course the BBQ competition. Admission is free!
