Description
Artist: Jane Estrabooks Watercolor painting Hanover Four Corner's: Barstow Two Oaks Shipyard Sign 16.5" x 13.5" In 1919 at the close of WWI, a group of businessmen and industrialists from Boston and the South Shore formed the North River Historical Association for the purpose of locating the sites of former shipyards along the river and marking those places with iron tablets. Along the shore of the North River in Hanover are the tablets marking the sites of the Barstow's Two Oaks and Smith's Yards.
