This highly collectible coin, inspected and verified by the Numismatics Guaranty Corporation of America (NGC), is an uncirculated $5 Liberty Half Eagle gold coin with a mint state of 61. The lack of a mint mark indicates the coin was minted in Philadelphia. Total weight is 8.36 grams (90% 21.6k gold, 10% copper) or 0.2419 troy oz. Coin is sealed in a plastic case with the NGC seal on the back of the tag and numismatic information on the front. NGC certification number is 666388-010.
Numismatic value is $1215 based on the NGC Price Guide. Melt value is approximately $1000 based on current gold pricing.
