1-Night Getaway at the Hermitage

The winner of this unique package will experience the ULTIMATE in relaxation amidst nature! The Hermitage at the Eco-Justice Center (just down the road in Racine, WI) offers ultimate solitude in a quiet place. Even in the midst of winter, visitors find a cozy atmosphere in this one room cabin with fireplace, comfy oversized chair, Queen bed, dining area and all the essentials for simple living amid the beauty of nature. The one room cabin also features a small refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, toaster and composting toilet. There is no indoor plumbing but water is provided for washing. Come to rest, read, relax, renew, write and enjoy! The winner of this auction item will a complimentary overnight stay at the Hermitage, located on the grounds of the Eco-Justice Center in Racine, WI. They will also receive a jar of homemade serviceberry jelly (harvested berries from the Eco-Justice property) and a homemade, felted alpaca ornament. In addition, Racine-favorite, Milaeger's Garden Center has donated a $25 gift card to be enjoyed by the winner. The Eco-Justice Center is located approximately 12 minutes north of the Racine Zoo in Racine, WI. Overnight stay must be redeemed by May 1, 2027.
