𝟮 𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝘁𝘀, 𝗧𝗵𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝟲𝘁𝗵, 𝟴:𝟬𝟬 𝗽𝗺 Based on a true story, "These Shining Lives" follows Catherine Donahue, who secures a rare job in the 1920s painting watch faces with radium, providing financial independence and camaraderie among women. Despite new household challenges and evolving roles, the women form a strong team at the Radium Dial Company. However, their health suffers as they are treated as expendable. Their story is one of resilience, as they fight to preserve their spirits and protect future generations from similar dangers. Tickets are general admission. The Village Playhouse is located at 2190E Bloor Street West, Toronto, M6S 1N3 (just east of Runnymede subway) on the lower level.
