The Folly Theater- "The Grand Lady of 12th Street"- has been at the vanguard of performing arts in Kansas City since it first opened in 1900. What began as a vaudeville and burlesque house now stands as the region's premier mid-sized performance hall, known for its supreme acoustics and intimacy. Today, the Folly proudly welcomes internationally renowned acts and artists ranging in style and background. A collaboration with KC’s local NPR music station, 90.9 the Bridge, to bring Americana and folk music performances to our historic stage and is a continuously evolving series throughout the year in our Americana Series.
