Description
Whether you’re an alum young or old, a camper parent, or simply enjoy the San Juans in the summertime, you will appreciate this unique opportunity to experience a three-day/two-night stay on Canoe Island this summer. Directors Margaret and Ben will host this singular and special experience. The visit can be what you make of it: an activity-filled adventure, a relaxing island stay, or a sneak-peak of life at summer camp. Guests will stay in “the Circle Room” at the Château (formerly Dr. Austin’s study), which boasts the best views anywhere on the island. The Circle Room can comfortably accommodate a couple and two children.
Guests will dine with camp for most meals but will also enjoy goûter at Château Point, partake in a dinner at the Château hosted by Ben and Margaret, and enjoy a campfire on the Point. Choose from a variety of activity options, including archery, kayaking, tidepooling, and cyanotype printing, all led by CIFC staff.
The visit will occur during mutually-agreed upon dates this summer between July 11th and August 25th. Certain restrictions apply due to the timing of camp happenings during which the directors are unavailable to host (e.g. travel days, “special” camp days, and periods between sessions).
