Description
Open meadows, mature forests, and marsh boardwalks connect interactive natural exhibits where native animals reside. Spend a day among black bears, mountain lions, river otters, bobcats, and more. Spend a day - take a self-guided tour of the animal exhibit trail (plan at least two-and-a-half hours). Plan two and a half hours to walk the three-quarter-mile live animal exhibit trail, which meanders through open meadows, mature forests, and marsh boardwalks on a packed gravel path at the Squam Lakes Natural Science Center in Holderness, NH. Additional hiking trails, gardens, and the Howling Coyote Gift Shop are also available to explore on-site.
