4 Voice Lessons with Joanne Scattergood Reeves

Ms. Scattergood Reeves has been teaching voice for 48 years, the last 25 at CCSU. She also served as the Artistic Director of the Ensign-Darling Vocal Fellowship at the Bushnell for 13 years until COVID struck. Her goals are to protect the larynx and free up the natural voice inside you, so that you can sing whatever type of music you want.  The lessons start with a thorough explanation of the vocal mechanism, and how the muscles surrounding it affect the voice. Then exercises are given to practice the correct usage of these muscles. Examples of progress through songs will also be used.  Timing of the lessons by agreement between Joanne and the winning bidder.
