Description

Artist Sarah Aronson studied watercolor painting while in college and enjoyed painting as a hobby throughout her retirement. "Yellow Garden Flowers" is a 14 x 18 unframed work. This is an intriguing floral landscape for Sarah as she featured flowers more often in vases.  Yet it clearly demonstrates her love for the gardens surrounding her home.  Sarah resided on Lovejoy Pond in Fayette where she drew inspiration from the flowers in her garden and the landscapes of the lake environment. Sarah passed away in August of 2023 at the age of 102. Her daughter, Jean Kassel, very generously donated this and other of Sarah's paintings to FOSH.
