Description

Ron Casserley`s race bike, donated by his daughter Corrine. Frame number 18753 (circa 1947). 59 cm seat tube CTT, 62 cm toptube CTC. Five swans on the headstem, two swans on the top tube that would original had R. Casserley hand painted in between them. The bike was updated by Ron later in life, probably around 1970 if the Huret Allvit deraileur is anything to go by. Aside from the addition of the derailleur it was repainted. New wheels with Normandy high flange hubs and brakes complete the changes. The rest of the bike appears original - Brooks saddle, unknown stem and track bars, and quick release mudguards.
