Gravel material can be granular “A” (5/8” minus) or granular “B” (3” minus). - Based on 20 tons of material. - Delivery based on any location within 60km of our quarry at 6575 County Road 2, Odessa. - MATERIAL MUST BE DELIVERED BY May 31, 2026. Morven Construction was incorporated in 1984 as a family business. Though the company has grown and the industry has changed, Morven remains a family-owned business to this day. Over the years, Morven has expanded from its initial focus on heavy civil sewer water main construction and repair to include the complementary range of services offered today, including heavy civil development and restoration as well as the design and execution of parks and recreational complexes. Morven’s core values remain unchanged. Client-centered service and excellence at every stage of a project are still priorities. It’s this drive toward the exceptional that sets them apart. Their steadfast success hinges on a simple and subtle duality: they’re dedicated to staying on-top of industry trends and planning and executing projects that many others consider too technically challenging, but they also recognize the importance of consistency, which is how they continue to nurture honest and open relationships with their clients and employees. Morven has been the force behind some of the most acclaimed projects in Eastern Ontario, but they have a client base that goes back decades, and employees who’ve worked with them from the beginning. In 2015, original owner Rene Doornekamp handed the reigns to Murray Aitken, long time member of the Morven family. Active in the industry on and off-site, Murray is past president of the Kingston Construction Association (KCA) and past chair of the Canadian Construction Association’s Civil Infrastructure Council and several Committees. He still serves on various construction industry and community committees.
