A Misty Migration - Casey Mulloy

This piece is called “A Misty Migration,” an original gouache painting which was created as a love letter to the many species of migratory birds we have the pleasure of witnessing every year. This piece is framed in a vintage frame sourced right here in Toronto. Casey Mulloy is a painter and hobby collector located in Toronto. My work is often inspired by nature, and by my childhood growing up in a small town. My work romanticizes the nature I miss, and my ever-growing series of paintings shows my love for it. I have a special interest in nature when it reclaims harsh human spaces and man-made objects. When I don't have a brush in my hands, I usually have a sewing needle, a crochet hook, or a ball of clay instead.
