"A New Dawn" - Acrylic & chalk - Original Art

When the lockdowns lifted, we could emerge, we walked, we got our hair professionally cut, we sought to look into the distance to sooth our souls. We felt the scars, the loss, the growth of having survived together, separately. And we try to remember what we learned; hopefully we keep our masks handy as, in any moment, risking to breathe unprotected is now an informed choice. Painting Name: “A New Dawn“ Dimensions: 30cm by 30cm by 5cm < 12 inches by 12 inches by 2 inches> Medium: Acrylic, chalk pastels Artist Tracey Vibert <TAV>, is a creative soul based on Ottawa, Ontario, who, while building and enjoying an over 45 year career in bridal design and custom sewing, has simultaneouly explored other genres of expression. Acrylic painting is one of her favourites, along with dance, cosplay, scultpture, event management and artistic baking. She has circled back to her alma mater and teaches the sewing courses for the full time fashion designer program at her former school.
