Description
A private tour of the Seydou Keïta exhibition, Seidou Keita: A Tactile lens, at the Brooklyn Museum of Art, led by the curator of the exhibition, Catherine McKinley, an award-winning author of nonfiction books, a curator, and Director of The McKinley Collection, an archive of African Photographies (1865-present). She offers a specialty in African and African American modern and contemporary art; African textile traditions; and fashion and its related trade histories. The tour would include up to four attendees and would offer an exhibition catalogue for each of the attendees. https://www.brooklynmuseum.org/exhibitions/seydou-keita This is a very important exhibition, the biggest ever, of one of Africa's most important artists, and the curator is amazing.
