Nina Howard embraces the ART OF LIVING! Off the beaten path and nestled in the foothills of the Great Smokey Mountain National Park, your senses are about to come alive while experiencing Nina’s artistic touch. Her art studio is a sanctuary and a respite from the busy workaday world of the matrix in which modern humanity resides. Nina says, “the sweet hum of the natural world, the amplification of the crystal structure and the energetic nature of working in one of Buckminster Fuller’s Geodesic domes enhances her creativity.” “Playing” with plants and color applied to canvas is the highest vibration she has experienced. It is her passion. She sees potential clients by appointment and eagerly awaits a chance to share her creative and artistic paintings with you. By car we are 13 minutes from downtown Waynesville, 35 minutes from downtown Asheville and 90 minutes from downtown Knoxville.
ADDITIONAL NINA HOWARD OPPORTUNITIES:
Nestled in the heart of Waynesville, NC, Folkmoot stands as a beacon of cultural celebration, renowned for its diverse programming and vibrant community events, including the esteemed annual North Carolina Folk International Festival. This September, Folkmoot proudly presents two unforgettable events featuring two remarkable artists: Nina Howard, a Modern Abstract Artist hailed as a Renaissance Woman, and Michael Fitzpatrick, a world-renowned Cellist.
On September 26, 2024, from 6:30 to 8:30 pm, these artists will unite for "Healing Through Color and Sound" at Folkmoot, an immersive experience combining Nina Howard's live painting and Michael Fitzpatrick's soul-stirring musical performance. Nina Howard's unique approach to art transcends convention; she forsakes brushes in favor of using her hands, infusing every stroke with heartfelt energy and emotion. Meanwhile, Michael Fitzpatrick, recipient of the prestigious Prince Charles Award for Musical Excellence and celebrated by His Holiness The XIVth Dalai Lama for the profound emotional impact of his music, intertwines his transformative compositions seamlessly with Nina Howard's art. His Holiness noted, "The emotion induced by Michael Fitzpatrick's music is so powerful it seems almost verbalized... his music is a genuine spiritual practice."
The collaboration between Nina Howard and Michael Fitzpatrick promises to weave a tapestry of creativity that not only entertains but also uplifts and inspires. Beyond this captivating evening, Michael Fitzpatrick will enchant audiences once more at the Folkmoot Live! concert on September 27, 2024, at 7 pm, promising a continuation of musical excellence and artistic wonder.
