BIO: André Letria nasceu em Lisboa em 1973. É ilustrador e editor. Os seus livros estão traduzidos em dezenas de idiomas, sendo os títulos A Guerra e Se Eu Fosse Um Livro (ambos com texto de José Jorge Letria), os que mais circulam pelo mundo, tendo cada um mais de 20 edições internacionais. Recebeu diversos prémios, como o Prémio Nacional de ilustração, em 1999 e 2019, o Nami Grand Prix (Coreia do Sul), Prémios de Excelência atribuídos pela revista Communication Arts e pela Society for News Design (USA), o prémio da Bienal BIG ou o prémio Talking Pictures da Feira do Livro de Nova Iorque. Em 2010, fundou a editora Pato Lógico, após mais de 20 anos a trabalhar como ilustrador. É regularmente convidado para ser jurado de prémios internacionais, como o prémio Bologna Ragazzi Digital Award (nas duas primeiras edições), o prémio Iberoamérica Ilustra, a bienal Ilustrarte, o 3x3 International Illustration Show ou os World Illustration Awards, da Association of Illustrators do Reino unido. Também se dedicou à animação e à cenografia para teatro e ocupa uma boa parte do seu tempo a visitar escolas e bibliotecas em Portugal e no estrangeiro para falar do seu trabalho e desenvolver oficinas criativas baseadas nos livros que ilustra e edita. *** BIO: BIO:** André Letria was born in Lisbon in 1973. He is an illustrator and publisher. His books have been translated into dozens of languages, with *A Guerra* (*The War*) and *Se Eu Fosse Um Livro* (*If I Were a Book*)—both written by José Jorge Letria—being his most internationally circulated titles, each with over 20 international editions. He has received numerous awards, including the **National Illustration Award** (1999 and 2019), the **Nami Grand Prix** (South Korea), **Awards of Excellence** from *Communication Arts* magazine and the **Society for News Design** (USA), the **BIG Biennial Award**, and the **Talking Pictures Award** from the New York Book Fair. In 2010, after more than 20 years working as an illustrator, he founded the publishing house **Pato Lógico**. He is regularly invited to serve as a juror for international awards such as the **Bologna Ragazzi Digital Award** (in its first two editions), **Iberoamérica Ilustra**, **Ilustrarte Biennial**, the **3x3 International Illustration Show**, and the **World Illustration Awards** of the **Association of Illustrators (UK)**. He has also worked in animation and stage design for theatre, and spends much of his time visiting schools and libraries in Portugal and abroad to discuss his work and lead creative workshops inspired by the books he illustrates and publishes.
