Description
Discover a unique collection of vintage artifacts from the 1910s-1970s that will delight collectors. This collection of curios includes an antique Remington Typewriter Oil 1 oz. glass bottle with original label and cork with loop applicator (c. 1910-20) created for individual desks in business offices and typing pools. Along with this is collection of personal care and first aid items that speaks of a well-stocked home medicine cabinet. The Mercurochrome glass bottle (c. 1930) is nostalgic reminder of minor cuts and scrapes dabbed with this bright red antiseptic. The Johannsen Drug Store pill box (c. 1940) from Lebanon, Oregon is a fine memento of local medical history, while the Watkins Compound Mustard Ointment c. 1960 offers a glimpse of forgotten traditional remedies. Also included is a Alka-Seltzer glass tube (c. 1960), an Avon Antiseptic Powder Tin (c. 1970), and a Hoffco Vanilla Ice shoe polish bottle (c. 1960). This collection is a must-have for those interested in vintage personal care and medical products.
