Description

Darrel Rippeteau is a retired architect, living with his wife Judy on 14th Street NW in the winter and on Wellesley Island, New York in the summer. Rippeteau enjoys sketching everyday scenes in small books. He founded the Stanley Hallet Sketchbook Awards at The Catholic University of America School of Architecture. Now permanently endowed, the program pays out thousands of dollars each year to students, encouraging “seeing, drawing and thus understanding” architecture. Darrel will sketch of your home creating a one-of-a-kind piece of art to celebrate where your heart is. A sample of Darre's work is attached for reference only. *Please note, Darrel will only be in DC occasionally prior to Thanksiving, 2026.
