Description
This table was made by 8th grade student Mason Goldey. He has been attending Madrone since 1st grade and wanted his 8th grade project to be sold to contribute funds for the annual 8th grade class trip. He welded the base of the table using 1 inch tube steel and painted it a beautiful “Lagoon Blue.” The top of the table came from an Atlas Blue Cedar that was removed from a property in Central Point by his father’s company Salamander Tree Service and was milled onsite using a chainsaw mill by Ms. Suzanne’s husband Stephen Percy. Mason then sanded it all the way down to a furniture grade, 400 grit smoothness. He sealed it using natural tung oil which is food safe and non toxic.
This is a beautiful, sturdy piece of furniture that would be a welcomed addition to any home!
