At this rescue zoo, children and adults alike can appreciate the Hill Country setting and enjoy an up-close experience with rescued animals. Austin Zoo is a private, non-profit zoo, with over 300 animals across a 100 different species. Take a ride on the Rawhide Rocket Train, a miniature train that offers an enjoyable and educational ride, giving glimpses of animals in their habitats. Visitors can interact with and feed various animals, including farm animals and exotic species!
