Description

Every May, Gary Ann Lewis’s woodland gardens explode in flashes of pink, yellow, and red. It’s a park-like setting — tall pines, open woods, sunlight coming through the trees — filled with the exuberant and fragrant blossoms of over 60 azaleas and rhododendrons. Few landscape shrubs are as widely celebrated and anticipated in the spring garden as azaleas and rhododendrons. A single plant is a marvel when seen close up. Groups of plants, many the size of small trees, viewed from one end of the garden or from the center, are nothing short of glorious. Stroll the gardens with Gary, then join her for refreshments on her porch or outside, if weather permits. The visit is one day only, rain or shine: Saturday, May 23 at 2pm. For up to 4 people. One person should bid for the group. ATTENTION: BIDDING FOR THE AZALEA AND RHODODENDRON TOUR ENDS MAY 17. YOU MAY USE THE “BUY NOW” BUTTON TO PURCHASE EARLIER.
