This handmade mobile by Williamstown artist Dan Thorington consists of 5 almost-life-sized swallows supported by deer rib arms. Hang it beneath a light and watch the shadows multiply on the wall. A group of swallows is called a richness or a swoop — perfect descriptors for this piece.
