Basketball 8 week training program for K-8th grader with AAU Hoop

AAU Hoop:  Winter or Spring Youth Basketball Instructional Program offers eight co-ed basketball sessions for boys and girls in grades K–8 and takes place at Schenectady Boys and Girls Club or Niskayuna School.  Players may “play up” or “play down” a grade level to best match their ability. Each one-hour session includes 30 minutes of skill development—covering dribbling, shooting, passing, defense, and teamwork—followed by a 30-minute full-court game. Trainers balance teams nightly to ensure fair, competitive play.  Younger players use lower rims, and referees emphasize learning over strict rule enforcement. Participants receive a basketball tee shirt, and all games are played in a positive, instructional environment promoting skill growth, sportsmanship, and confidence.
