Fluvanna County, VA. 11x14". John Hartwell Cocke built this impressive stone barn in 1820 on a plantation he inherited in central Virginia, not far from the James River. Marc Wagner of the Virginia Department of Historic Resources described it as the state's most exquisite stone barn. Architecturally magnificent and equally historic.
