I was honored to take a hand quilting class through Arrowmont Folk Art School in 2025. Creating quilts alongside painting has given me added perspective on textiles, both in their physical surfaces and visual textures. This back-and-forth between stitching and painting naturally shapes how I work, connecting traditional handcraft with a more contemporary, painterly interpretation.
